The Association of Thailand Underwater Sports (ATUS) is thrilled to announce that Thailand has been selected to host the 2025 CMAS Underwater Hockey World Championships, scheduled to take place from August 15-25, 2025, at the Bangkok Sports Complex.

World-Class Venue and Facilities

The championships will utilize the newly renovated 50-meter Olympic pool at Bangkok Sports Complex, featuring state-of-the-art underwater camera systems and spectator seating for over 2,000 fans. The facility has been specifically upgraded to meet CMAS international standards for underwater hockey competitions.

"We are incredibly honored to bring this prestigious event to Thailand," said ATUS Secretary-General, Dr. Pranee Wijittra. "This championship will showcase Thailand's commitment to underwater sports and provide our national teams with the invaluable experience of competing on home waters."

Expected Global Participation

The tournament is expected to attract over 800 athletes from 40+ countries, competing in multiple divisions including men's, women's, and mixed team categories. Thailand will field competitive teams in all divisions, building on recent strong performances in regional competitions.

Registration for the championships will open in January 2025, with detailed information available on the ATUS website. The event promises to be a celebration of underwater hockey excellence and Thai hospitality.
